My dog suffers anxiety from thunderstorms/guns/loud noises for a period of time. I gave her the recommended dose about 30 minutes before and she was fine. Like she really didn't care, but if you need something that'll work faster get a liquid. I have both. One for if something just popped out of no where and the chewable for if I know it's coming. Just depends on what you need.
